The Rockingham County Repeater Association

Serving Rockingham County North Carolina and Surrounding Areas

Watch out for the newest addition to the Rockingham County Repeater Association's W4BJF Repeater Network. Over the next couple of weeks we will begin testing on our new addition to the 440 repeater network. The repeater will consist of a GE Mastr Exec running 35 watts with a NHRC-4 Controller installed. Our Duplexer is a Phelps-Dodge 6 Cavity set of cans which are now being tuned. This repeater should be placed in the north-western section of the County. There are long range plans of this being part of a 'Linked' 440 Network.

More information will be posted around mid-June.

Update June 1, 2005: Our new addition is now On The Air being tested! We are operating on the Frequency of 442.100 MHz with a Plus Offset and no PL Tone. We have currently placed this in place of the 443.975 MHz repeater. Please feel free to try this machine out and give us your feedback. Please note that this is only on the air for testing at this time and the 443.975 MHz repeater will be off the air during this test.
